Nearly 100,000 people flock to pay homage to the "Buddha's Tooth Relic" on Makha Bucha Day

Today (13 February 2025), reporters reported that on the recent Makha Bucha Day, a large number of people from both Bangkok and other provinces continuously traveled to pay homage to the Buddha's relics and the Glass Tooth Relic at Sanam Luang. Officials reported that the number of people who came to pay homage to the sacred tooth relic on Makha Bucha Day, an important Buddhist holiday, alone had 91,913 Thai and foreign people come to pay homage, divided into 89,251 Thais, 2,082 foreigners, and 580 monks and nuns.
